I've included this project which is in the early stages to show how a computer programme (in this case Google Sketch-Up) can be used to create three dimensional images which help clients, their backers and the planners visualise a scheme before it is built. On small projects I can offer to produce a 3D model for an extra fee, on larger projects such as this I would normally include a 3D model in the presentation.

This scheme has been redesigned following detailed discussion with the local planners here is the outcome of those discussions:

 
The planners preferred to see one building on the site instead of two buildings fronting either way with the parking tucked out of view behind.

This design achieves that with a building that faces both ways comprising two open courtyards featuring an enclosed spiral stair accessing the flats via open balconies. Each flat has a dedicated parking space with an additional allowance for visitors.
